U.3 Chapter 2

Maria is an Italian student that is suding is studing in the USA. On September13 she arrived the New York City. She stays in student housing and she has a comefortable room there. She likes her school. She has three classes a day, in the class everybody comes from Japan, Germani, Koria and Poland so there aren't any Italian people in her calss so she has to use English most of the time. She's practicing alot; that's why she wrote this joual for her class because her teacher said to her writting joual helps her writting English. She thinks her English is hopeless because on October 20 in the moing on the bus one man was talking to her but she hardly ever understood, and she was embarraassed. Maria likes to make alot of American friends but she's so shy so she can't talk to peolpe easily. On October 27 she went to a party that was awsome. She met two new friend from Japan and Poland. They talked about their countries' customs and experiences they had in the States. They are going to walk around the city together. One of his friends wants her to write for student newspaper in there. Maria feels everything is getting better. END
