The Olympic Flame

The Olympic took place every four years. Athletes comes from every competing nation. Preparations and celebrations for the Olympic Games start long before the opening ceremony. One requirement for the Olympic flame is that it must be created only with sunlight and mirror. The first mode Olympic torch relay happened in Berlin. In summer of 1936. Carrying the torch is a great honor. Traditionally, the torch is carried on foot but for the Sydney Summer Games in 2000, a diver carried it underwater.
