This Week's Students around the world Min interviews Lisa, an American college student.
Min asked some question from Lisa like how does she pay sor collge education, how can she pay some of them by herself, does she have money for fun or not, how eles does she save money?. Her answers: she is 21, she is a junior at university in Chicago. In each semester her expensise are almost $ 15,000. At the start of each semester scholarship gives her 2000 then parents give her 10,000 tutition and 2000 for her personal expenses. She have to pay the remaining 3000 herself. How? She does part-time work as a waiteress. She eas $400 a week. She doesn't have money for fun. Her roommate and she rent movie and split it together. They rarly go to the restuarant so they cook by own food, It's cheaper. Her mom adviced her stick to her money carfully so she doesn't want to barrow. She doesn't like to owe money. She often walk or ride bike to college, she barrows books and magazine instead of buying them, Lisa and her roommate also are carefull to use less from water and electricity so they don't have to pay alot for those things.
